Heritage Tours

Our seasonal programme of guided tours focuses on the historic heart of Eton College, featuring many of the earliest buildings and objects from the College Collections.

The 2025 tour season will run from 2nd May to 19th September. Tours take place on Friday afternoons at 2pm and 4pm, for a duration of 90 minutes each. The tour covers School Yard, College Chapel, Upper School, Lower School, and the Museum of Eton Life. When available, a special viewing of a special exhibition is also included.

In addition to the heritage tours, our three museums and special exhibitions are open to the public on Sunday afternoons.

Book a tour

To book a place on one of the Heritage Tours, please visit our Eventbrite page or visit Eton Information Centre (67 High Street, Eton, SL4 6AA). Booking opens 24 March 2025.

For all ticketing enquiries, please call the Eton Information Centre on 01753 852588.

Individuals and small groups are welcome on these scheduled tours. We regret that we are unable to accommodate any groups of more than six people.

Admission: £15 per person (plus booking fee). Under 10s in family groups are free of charge (tours are not suitable for children under 7 years old). All children must be accompanied by a paying adult, and are the responsibility of their parent/carer for the duration of the tour.

Half price for RBWM yellow advantage card holders, with presentation of valid card on arrival.

Please note before your visit

Security searches will be in operation before tours begin. No visitor with a large bag can be admitted. Please note that in this historic environment there are steps, uneven walkways and narrow passages, and see our additional information on accessibility before you book. Please also note that we are a working school and tours route may sometimes be subject to change.

For further information or to request assistance, please call Eton Information Centre on 01753 852588 or email [email protected]. Seasonal opening hours for the Eton Information Centre are displayed on the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead website.

Please note there will be no tickets available on the door or via telephone enquiry to Eton College, so please contact Eton Information Centre to enquire about additional availability.
