Simon Roberts: Landscapes of Innocence and Experience surveyed a number of contemporary bodies of work by the British photographic artist. Brought together in the UK for the first time, the works demonstrated a sustained photographic investigation by Roberts (b. 1974) into the terrain and shorelines of his native country. The works displayed picture the social practices and customs, cultural landmarks, economic and political theatre that define the space as uniquely British, but equally engage with universal ideas of the human relationship to landscape, of identity and belonging.
The exhibition was realised in collaboration with Flowers Gallery, London.
