All are welcome at our regular openings of our museums and galleries on weekend afternoons. Staff are on hand in the Museum of Antiquities, the Museum of Eton Life, the Natural History Museum and the Verey Gallery to welcome you and answer any questions during public opening hours. Please see What’s On for more information and dates of special exhibitions. The museums and galleries may occasionally close due to holidays or exceptional circumstances.
A wonderful museum—so impressed with the friendliness of the staff who took time to explain the exhibits.

What to See
Why not start your visit in the Museum of Eton Life, where you can step back in time and learn about the history of life at the school since its foundation in the 15th century. Next, journey across School Yard to see the latest temporary exhibition in the Verey Gallery, which showcases objects and art from our collections as well as loans from elsewhere. Then, take a short walk to the Natural History Museum where you can explore and understand more about the natural world. Round off your visit with trip to the Museum of Antiquities, see objects from the ancient world and discover more about life in Ancient Egypt.
There are fun learning activities for families in each of the museums and if possible, we recommend visiting more than once to make the most of your time in each space. Many of our weekend visitors combine an afternoon exploring our museums and galleries with a trip to Windsor in the morning.
